Production facilities

In 2003, HTceramix established a pilot manufacturing laboratory in order to cover the increased needs for internal development and to comply with customer demand. In the scheme of the production transfer, process and quality control as well as cost monitoring were implemented.

Beyond producing sufficient amounts of cells and SOFConnex™ with suitable quality, the pilot line has enabled HTc to establish a logistic chain and form relationships with critical suppliers, monitor costs, validate cost projections and starting commercialisation of cells and stacks.

Production is closely linked to development, allowing flexibility in the cell and SOFConnex™ production. As a result, loop times for new stack geometries and integration of new materials are in the range of only a few weeks.
